Collin Spencer, PhD, is a scientist and builder at the intersection of AI and the life sciences, most recently as an AI Product Engineer at Coefficient Bio developing agentic AI tools to accelerate drug development.

His career spans disease neurogenomics, biotech venture capital, and scientific community building. He has sourced and evaluated investments in AI-driven drug discovery and platform biotech at ARTIS Ventures and Compound VC, and is an angel investor with Springboard Health Angels. He co-founded Nucleate NYC, a student-led organization that helps emerging scientists translate academic research into biotech ventures.

Collin earned his PhD from the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, where he applied AI to single-cell genomics to discover novel immune therapeutic targets for Alzheimer's disease — including why some brains resist neurodegeneration.

Outside of work, Collin lifts, cycles, and goes out dancing. His playlists span French electronic to Japanese house, and in between, you'll find him stopped mid-block, admiring the concrete jungle and the nature woven through it.
