Carlos Vazquez is a Vice President at Perceptive Advisors, a New York City life sciences hedge fund, where he sits in the structured financing and tactical opportunities team. He was previously a healthcare investment banker at Jefferies where he worked with life sciences companies on a variety of capital markets and M&A transactions, and was also a council member of the London Jeffries LGBT+ committee. Carlos serves as the Treasurer and as a Board Member of OUTBio: Greater New York. He received his Bachelor’s degree in Natural Sciences (Pharmacology) from the University of Cambridge, where he focused on neuropharmacology.
